Jennifer Bond is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 22 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. She provides assessment and therapy in the following areas:
Voice therapy (including professional voice users, teachers, singers, and those with voice disorders)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (individualized, play-based, and social-pragmatic support)
Complex developmental differences (for children who may have more than one diagnosis or learning difference, such as global developmental delay, Down syndrome, or combined social, motor, and communication needs)
Oral motor difficulties (challenges with the strength, coordination, and movement of the mouth that affect speech, feeding, or swallowing)
Articulation and speech clarity
Receptive and expressive language skills
Literacy (supporting reading, spelling, and written language development)
Aphasia and communication changes following stroke or brain injury
Dysphagia (swallowing difficulties) in adults
Jennifer’s approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. She believes communication is central to connection and works closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure therapy is meaningful and functional.

Erika Gilbert
(She/Her/Hers)
Communicative Disorder Assistant, CDAAC Member, Reg. ECE
Erika Gilbert is a formally trained member of the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC) and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada. She is also a registered Early Childhood Educator. Erika graduated from Fanshawe College before earning her post-graduate Communicative Disorders Assistant diploma from Durham College with honours. Originally from Guelph, Erika brings over five years of experience working with toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children at the YMCA-YWCA. This included three years leading the after-school program. She has also supported clients one-on-one as an educational assistant with the Wellington Catholic District School Board.
At Wellington County Speech, Erika has gained valuable experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, motor speech disorders, late talking, articulation, language and literacy development. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, with a passion for making therapy engaging and meaningful for families. Drawing on her background in early childhood development, individualized support and family-centered care, Erika is dedicated to helping children build strong communication skills with confidence.

Emily Merritt MSc., SLP (C), CLC, Reg. CASLPO #6625
Emily Merritt is a Registered Speech and Language Pathologist and Certified Lactation Counsellor. She graduated from Dalhousie University with a Masters of Science in Speech and Language Pathology following the completion of an Honours Bachelor Degree in Music Cognition from McMaster University. Emily is originally from Mount Forest but has spent time living and working in Nova Scotia, Northern Alberta and the West Midlands of England before returning home to Wellington County.
Emily uses a family-centred approach focusing on functional goals that can have a broad impact. She has an interest in working with infants and parents to support feeding goals. She has experience working in rural and culturally diverse areas in both school and community based settings.
Emily has gained experience working with a variety of developmental and acquired speech and language difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Specific Language Impairment, Stuttering, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Aphasia and Apraxia. She has completed training within the area of lactation/infant feeding support, behaviour management, regulation, and augmentative and alternative communication. Emily has a passion for working with families, using evidence-based, client centred approaches within her practice to educate, consult, assess and provide therapy for clients with speech, feeding, literacy language, and fluency challenges.

Natalie Morrison MSc. SLP, Reg. CASLPO #9114
Natalie completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at McMaster University before joining Wellington County Speech Therapy Erin as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Before pursuing her graduate studies, she spent eight years working with young children in the education field in a variety of settings, including a local school board, children treatment centre, and childcare centres. This hands-on experience has given her extensive knowledge of childcare, early learning environments, and the developmental needs of children.
She holds two diplomas in Early Childhood Education from Conestoga College and Humber College, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Studies from the University of Guelph-Humber.
Born and raised in Guelph, Natalie is passionate about serving her local community. Drawing on her strong background in child development and her diverse experience with a range of populations, she is committed to providing care that is both child and family centred.
Through her clinical placements, Natalie has gained experience supporting children in the neurodivergent community, as well as those with stuttering, dysarthria, dysphagia, articulation disorders, feeding challenges, AAC, and language and literacy disorders.
